Glenelg Senior Commits to Florida State University

MARYLAND  – David Robbins, senior from Glenelg North High School, made his future evident Wednesday, February 4, 2015, by signing his NLI (National Letter of Intent). February 4th marks the first day that high school seniors could sign scholarship papers for the following sports: Football, Men and Women’s Soccer, Water polo (Mens’ only), and more.

The National Letter of Intent is a binding agreement between the student-athlete and a college, by which the student-athlete agrees to attend the college for one academic year.

 

Robbins, 6’4”/ 315 lbs. Offensive Line, will be looking to continue his academic career at the Florida State University and his athletic career playing Football for the Seminoles. Robbins received offers from ACC, BIG TEN, SEC and PAC 12 programs. He 3tarted 3 years on varsity. Combined record 24-10. Made the playoffs each year. County Champions in 2013, Regional Champions in 2014. Team Captain in 2014. His HS team gained more than 7,000 yards rushing combined in Junior and Senior years.

Robbins was invited to play in the Offense Defense All American Bowl in Orlando, Florida. The Big 33 Game – Maryland vs Pennsylvania and the Maryland Crab Bowl. These are just a few of Robbins outstanding accolades.
